Spring is almost here. I'm going to start working on turning my backyard into my little urban homestead in the city. My heroes for this are the Dervaes family in California. Check out their website. 6000 lbs of food from 1/10 of an acre. If we all could do that we wouldn't need the big factory farms and the practices that abuse both the animals and the workers.
